Technology

At Fulton Dental Center, we understand how leading-edge technology improves patients' experiences. Dr. Prather has invested in state-of-the-art equipment for our Fulton dental office to make procedures more comfortable, efficient, and stress-free for our patients.

Read on for more information about the advanced technology we use at Fulton Dental Center.

3-D Printer

3-D printing technology has become an invaluable tool for dentists. Dr. Prather relies on the PrimePrint 3-D Printing System to help create customized dentures in the most comfortable manner with the best possible results for our patients.

Our cutting-edge 3-D technology enables us to swiftly scan and capture a 3-D image, which we then use to fabricate custom dentures. The FDA-approved materials and production process ensure the highest quality, allowing most patients to enjoy their new dentures after just two visits to Fulton Dental Center.

Some of the other procedures and appliances we use 3-D printing technology for are:

  • Nightguards
  • TMJ splints
  • Retainers
  • Temporary bridges
  • Models

Our goal is to make every visit you have with our team comfortable and pleasant, and 3-D printing technology helps us achieve that goal.

CEREC Same-Day Restorations

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. Gone are the days of waiting weeks for your crown or bridge to be finished at a dental lab! This innovative system allows Dr. Prather to design, fabricate, and permanently place dental restorations like crowns and bridges in just one visit to our Fulton dental office.

With CEREC, Dr. Prather scans a 3-D image of your tooth that he uses to create your new restoration. This replaces the uncomfortable and messy impressions we took in the past. He then sends his specifications directly to our milling machine, which uses high-quality porcelain to fabricate your new tooth.

You'll leave Fulton Dental Center the same day with an aesthetically pleasing restoration you can enjoy immediately and rely on for years to come.
